Book Haul #1 (Horror)

ravenThere have been numerous studies on why people love to be scared.  I for one won’t be adding anything new to the discussion. I just have a long-standing love for all things horror. I’ve probably mentioned that before. LOL. I’ve been purchasing quite a few horror novels lately- both physical copies, and e-books. Horror novels aren’t just picked up in October. I read horror all year long, baby! Here are the books I’ve bought since the start of May. Ooh, and for book recommendations check out the following YouTube channels. The Low-Budget Review show hosted by, Erik Smith is everything! I love this channel! His passion for horror is infectious. Check it out here. Erik’s fantastic reviews just makes you want to spend money quickly on books! Matt The Horror Adonis’ channel is another great find. I think his horror novel reviews are quite clever and informative. Check out his channel here.

Finally, here goes the list.

Exorcist Falls by Jonathan Janz- The latest release by one of my favorites.

Everything’s Eventual by Stephen King- I let a friend borrow my copy, and I never got it back. I had to purchase this short story collection again.

We Came Back by Patrick Lacey- I’m friends with Erik on Fb, and he shared a post about this author’s current release. Looked dope, so I bought a copy.

Dream Woods by Patrick Lacey- I thought the cover of this book was frightening. I HAD to have it!

In The Dark by Richard Laymon- I’ve heard that this author is quite prolific. Had to check out some of his work.

Peaceable Kingdom by Jack Ketchum- A short story collection, and my intro to the legendary author.

The Resurrectionist by Wrath James White- I heard that this book was insanely good! Can’t wait to read it!

Cheers, homies!
